Research

The Oklahoma Territorial Museum houses a research library open to patrons from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. Other times are available by appointment only. The holdings consist of a wide variety of sources specific to Guthrie, Logan County, and Oklahoma History, including academic journals, books, vertical files, and microfilm collections.

It is recommended that patrons call ahead to inform the staff of the points of interests so research can be started prior to arrival. We also accept requests via email, telephone call, or letter by mail.

Our accessioned, archival and photographic collections are limited to academic purposes only and will need written requests for access. A specific appointment for this type of research is necessary and a curatorial staff member will be present.

If your request is genealogical in nature (census records, residency information, or birth, marriage, and death certificates, etc.) please contact the Logan County Genealogical Society.
